If its production, then i do care and want perfect code and dont mind spending a extra hour on a part to get it.įor the hobby guys, i doubt most of them are going to spend 10k on a cam system. If i had 10 parts i wasn't going to build again anytime soon then i would want it fast and not care about extra crap.

For optimizing tool paths for true production environment is it really that necessary for a cam system to "pick" things for you? to me that sounds like a shortcut. its just no good if you have never played with it or are new to its logic. It would be hard to argue that mastercam isn't a good program. It would be great for someone with time to spend editing code or injecting extra tool paths and running low volume.

Even on the hsm board looks like you are complaining about what it doest do yet you keep pushing it? HSMworks might be a neat program, its certainly simple to use but also seems limited. I'm curious what cam software you currently use? Or are you a salesman for HSMworks that is just spamming? I see you on a few boards around.
